Trading through Phone

We provide the service of trading through the phone with our dealing desk in a number of circumstances. Phone trading only available to clients holding regular accounts. This service through the phone occurs when the system is down due to power failures, problems with the client’s internet connection or client not having access to a pc in front of him but would like to trade and other associated problems.

Although we provide this service of trading over the phone it would be better for the client to be able to trade over the internet with our platform due to the ease of use of the platform.

Clients would therefore trade more efficiently due to no time wasted due to miscommunication of any kind. Thereby we would like to recommend that our clients trade using the MIF Trader.

Phone orders can be placed with our Dealing Desk 24 hours a day five days a week during trading hours. Trading hours are as follows:

• Winter Trading Hours are from Monday at 6.30 AM to Saturday 4.30 AM.
• Summer Trading Hours from Monday 6.30 AM to Saturday 3.30 AM.

There is proper dealing etiquette to be used when trading with dealers over the telephone. When trading over the telephone the procedure is that our dealer will ask our client for his login id.

Using this information the dealer will login to the system just like how the client would use the Asset Manager.

Dealing Etiquette

• Immediately state your login ID to the dealer.
• State your interest. State the number of lots you are interested in and the currency pair.
• Example:” I would like a price on 5 lots of USD/Yen.”
• You will then receive from the Dealer a 2-way price quote consisting of a 5 pip spread under normal market conditions.
• Example: (USD/Yen, the first number being the bid side, the second the ask side) “120.10-15”
• State your trade.

Example:

"At 120.10, I sell 5 lots of USD/JPY" or

"At 120.15, I buy 5 lots of USD/JPY"

Note: The price given by our dealers is only valid at that instance. If you are not willing to make a trade at that time then you can simply say “Nothing done” and hang up.
